If you feel anxious
I have a great tip for you.
Recently I learned that the brain can’t feel anxious and grateful at the same time.
Disclaimer: I am not sure if this is entirely true. But carry on reading because the process still works!
So the last few times that I felt anxiety creeping in, I made a conscious effort to remember things that I am grateful for.
My Son. Today. Family. Friends. Love. Faith. A passion. Life.
I’m just speaking for myself here but it really calmed me down.
I repeated the things I am thankful for. I pictured them.
Doing so brought me back to the present moment.
Breathing works too
Even if the science isn’t true, the process does have the required effect.
I made a TikTok about this topic and the community commented that it helped some of them too.
